Application of DusCoat

To use DusCoat, simply disperse it over the soil the same way you would water your lawn. The product will then work its way deep into the soil penetrating it to form a solid surface binding the particles of soil together, preventing the creation of small airborne particles that become dust.

Mixing DusCoat

The dry chemical portion of DusCoat is dissolved in the water emulsion, Each bag of DusCoat is dissolved in 400-600 gallons (US) of water. The water emulsion, once the DusCoat is fully solubilized, can be applied to the different substrates that you want to control dust on.

Depending on your need, apply a larger amount of DusCoat to form a long-term rigid surface that can last for several 8 months or more. When applied in this manner, DusCoat will make the soil as firm and solid as cement. By applying a smaller amount, you will get a temporary but stable surface base that is water permeable. This type of application is often used to meet your dust control needs. Allow the product to cure and solidify and it will become completely solid yet transparent. Most importantly, DusCoat is environmentally safe leaving the soil unscathed.
